The mission of the Aransas Pass Public Works Department is to effectively maintain and develop public infrastructure and facilities and to provide services to the public to achieve common social, economic, and environmental desires.
What is Public Works?
The Public Works Department is responsible for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of the City’s infrastructure and the implementation of the City’s vision through the application of the adopted codes and standards.
Public Works provides a variety of essential services to safeguard the quality of life, health, property values, and public welfare. The Department is organized into two divisions, each focusing on specific services: Utilities and Streets & Drainage.
