Starting in Fall 2022 the City of Aransas Pass will be reimplementing the Parks & Recreation Department!
Parks & Recreations bring valuable amenities to the community by encouraging residents to be active, enjoy the outdoors, and participate in the many activities and locations the city has to offer.
What to expect for Parks & Recreations
Teams & Leagues
The new department will focus on working with the leagues and teams in Aransas Pass to enhance the experience for our youth, and position the teams for even greater success.
Activities
Starting in the Winter/Spring the department will provide lots of activities for the community to enjoy, including outdoor events, movies, holiday celebrations, and much more!
Youth Programs
Another main area the department will focus on is youth programming. This will include a variety of activities and seasonal programs geared to provide fun and entrainment for our youth!
City Parks
The City of Aransas Pass is home to several community parks with a variety of amenities and unique opportunities. Our goal is to highlight these areas and help them reach their full potential! Did you know you can plan a special occasion at almost any of our community park areas? Well now you do, and you can! Playgrounds, fishing, a skate park, a beautiful pavilion, and a butterfly garden are only some of the amenities found at in our city parks.
Outdoor Recreational Activities
Aransas Pass has lots of outdoor recreational activities available to its community! Kayaking, boating, and fishing are some of the main attractions for our community and offer great options for outdoor fun. The dog park also provides a way to include your favorite furry friends in the outdoor activities!

Community Garden
Welcome to the home for all of the latest information on the new Community Garden of the City of Aransas Pass! Community gardens offer great value to the communities in which they are available. They provide space for community members to grow, and maintain access to nutritional foods, enjoy growing and caring for a variety of plants and flowers, and they create an opportunity for education. These gardens encourage the community to spend time out of doors and emphasize overall healthy lifestyles.
